D MORTIMER 

D Mortimer is a writer from London occupied with experimental trans and crip narratives. They are working on ideas of bureaucracy and ableism at the moment, and the problems that being a problem body presents. Their work (essays, poetry, prose, creative criticism) has been published widely. 

They have recently completed a practice based PhD in Creative Writing at

The University of Roehampton entitled The Beef Journals: Naming the Uncertain in Transgender Subject Formation - a creative-critical enquiry. Their first book Last Night A Beef Jerk Saved My Life was published by Pilot Press in 2021. Their second book SPEED GLUM HERO will be published with Sticky Fingers in September 2024
